(ו) אמר מהנגלות שלי אין אתם צריכים ללמד הינו אף על פי שכפי שאתם רואין ממני נדמה לכם שאני על פי רב בעצבות, אין אתם צריכים ללמד מזה, רק להיות בשמחה תמיד. כי האם אתם מדמים עצמכם אלי בכל הדברים לעשות כמוני. גם באמת אני בשמחה, רק מחמת שאני צריך תמיד לפנות הדרך במקום שהיה תהו ומדבר לעשות שם דרך לקצץ משם כל המעכבים שם את הדרך, וצריכים לקצץ שם אילנות הגדלים שם מאלפים שנים, ולהיות הולך ושוב אנה ואנה לקצץ ולחזר ולקצץ, כדי שיהיה הדרך כבושה לרבים, שיוכלו רבים לילך באותו הדרך, ומחמת יגיעות כאלו הוא בדאגה על פי רב. ואמר אז שגם רבי שמעון שיך לזה הינו לבחינת פנוי הדרך:

He said: "From my revealed matters you do not need to learn — meaning, even though as you observe me it seems to you that I am mostly in sadness, you do not need to learn from this — only to always be in joy. For do you compare yourselves to me in all things to act as I do? In truth I too am in joy — only because I must always clear the path in a place that was chaos and wilderness, to make a road there — to cut away from there all the obstacles impeding the road — and one must cut down trees that have grown there for thousands of years, and go back and forth here and there cutting and returning to cut — in order that the road be well-trodden for the multitudes who will be able to walk on that road. And from this great exertion..."
