(יג) אמר כל מה שרוצין לעשות בשבילי יש על זה כמה וכמה מניעות. כי כמה וכמה עומדים ואורבים על זה לקלקל אותו הדבר שרוצין לעשות בשבילי. כי להפך כשנעשה אותו הדבר מקבלים ויונקים מזה כמה וכמה עולמות, והם עומדים ומצפים שיהיה נגמר ונעשה הדבר, וזה לעמת זה עומדת הסטרא אחרא למנע ולעכב שלא יצא מכח אל הפעל וכו'. וזה נאמר אפלו על דברים קטנים יהיה הדבר מה שיהיה, מאחר שהוא בשבילו יש על זה כמה מניעות:

(13.) He said: "Whatever one wants to do for my sake — there are many many obstacles for it. For many many lie in wait to disrupt whatever one wants to do for my sake. For in the opposite direction — when that thing is done — countless worlds receive and draw nourishment from it, and they stand and wait for the matter to be completed and done. And corresponding to this the sitra achra [Other Side] stands to prevent and obstruct so that it should not go from potential to actual etc." And this is said even for small things — whatever it may be — since it is for his sake there are many obstacles."
