(יט) אמר הצדיק האמתי יכול לעשות טובה גדולה להאדם גם אחר פטירתו לעולם הבא [למי שזוכה לבוא אליו בשביל תקון]. ודע שעקר המניעה שמונעין את מי שאינו זוכה שאין מניחין אותו לילך להצדיק האמיתי לקבל תקון, הוא רק מה שמדיחין ומסיתין אותו מזה, ומבלבלין אותו בכפירות והסתות שאין בהצדיק ממש. כי גם שם בין המלאכי חבלה והקלפות יש מתנגדים גדולים כמו בזה העולם. על כן העקר לקח זאת בדעתו לבלי להניח עצמו לפתות ולהסית אותו שם, רק יעמד על דעתו שם בחזק לילך דיקא להצדיק האמת, ואז בודאי יניחוהו. ושמעתי שאמר גם שם צריכין חזוק אמונה בהצדיק. וספר מעשה על זה מה שארע בארץ ישראל אצל הצדיק רבי מנדל מויטפסק עם אחד מאנשיו שמו רבי נח שנפטר על הספינה וכו':

(19.) He said: "The true tzaddik can do a great favor for a person even after his passing in the World to Come — for one who merits to come to him for rectification. And know that the main obstacle that prevents one who does not merit — in that he is not allowed to go to the true tzaddik to receive rectification — is only the fact that he is lured and incited away from this, and confused with heretical ideas and insinuations that there is nothing real in the tzaddik. For also there among the destructive angels and the klippos there are great opponents just like in this world. Therefore the main thing is to take this into one's mind — not to allow oneself to be enticed and incited there. Only one should stand firm on his mind there with streng..."
