שָׂשׂ אָנֹכִי בְּשִׂמְחָה עֲצוּמָה עַד בְּלִי קֵץ בְּכָל הַדִּבּוּרִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁכָּתַבְתָּ, בִּרְאוֹתִי כְּתַב יָדְךָ הַיָּקָר לִי מִזָּהָב וּמִפָּז וְאֶת עֹצֶם תַּבְעֵרַת לִבְּךָ אֶל הָאֱמֶת, אַשְׁרֶיךָ שֶׁזָּכִיתָ לְשַׁבֵּר הַמְּנִיעוֹת וְעִכּוּבִים וְכָתַבְתָּ לִי.
And let them stand up for me — as advocates of righteousness — to argue on my behalf — and to seek and to find within me the good points.
אֲהוּבִי אָחִי נַפְשִׁי וּלְבָבִי, אֲנַחְנוּ מְחֻיָּבִים לְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ תָּמִיד עַל גֹּדֶל הַחֶסֶד וְהַיְשׁוּעָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה עִמָּנוּ, שֶׁסִּבֵּב בְּנִפְלְאוֹתָיו שֶׁזָּכִינוּ לִהְיוֹת בְּחֶלְקוֹ שֶׁל הַנַּחַל נוֹבֵעַ רַבֵּנוּ אוֹר הֶחָדָשׁ הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהַנּוֹרָא וְהַנִּשְׂגָּב וְכוּ' וְכוּ' שֶׁעַל-יָדוֹ יִתָּקֵן כָּל הָעוֹלָם בִּשְׁלֵמוּת. וְצְרִיכִים אֲנַחְנוּ לְהַרְגִּיל עַצְמֵנוּ בְּכָל יוֹם לְהַעֲמִיק מַחֲשַׁבְתֵנוּ בֶּאֱמֶת בְּעֹצֶם הַחֶסֶד וְהַיְשׁוּעָה הַנִּפְלָאָה וְהַנּוֹרָאָה הַזֹּאת אֲשֶׁר הִפְלִיא ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ עִמָּנוּ וְעִם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל לְדוֹרוֹת עוֹלָם, וּלְהַרְחִיב לִבֵּנוּ לִפְתֹּחַ פִּינוּ וּלְפָרֵשׁ לְפָנָיו יִתְבָּרַךְ כָּל אֲשֶׁר עִם לְבָבֵנוּ כְּבֵן הַמִּתְחַטֵּא לִפְנֵי אָבִיו מַמָּשׁ, כִּי אָנוּ רוֹאִים בְּעֵינֵינוּ בְּכָל עֵת שֶׁאָנוּ בָּנִים לַה' אֱלֹקֵינוּ מַמָּשׁ כִּי הוּא גּוֹמֵל עִמָּנוּ חֲסָדִים תָּמִיד בְּכָל יוֹם וּבְכָל עֵת וּבְכָל שָׁעָה כְּרַחֵם אָב עַל בָּנִים. אַשְׁרֵי אָזְנֵינוּ שֶׁזָּכִינוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ נוֹרָאוֹת כָּאֵלֶּה, וְאִם הָיִינוּ רוֹצִים לְהָבִיא תּוֹדָה עַל דִּבּוּר אֶחָד לֹא יַסְפִּיקוּ כָּל יָמֵינוּ לְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל וּלְשַׁבֵּחַ וּלְפָאֵר וּלְרוֹמֵם וּלְהַדֵּר וּלְנַצֵּחַ לְבָרֵךְ לְעַלֵּה וּלְקַלֵּס לְמִי שֶׁעָשָׂה לָנוּ וּלְכָל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת כָּל הַנִּסִּים הָאֵלּוּ, שֶׁזָּכִינוּ בַּדּוֹרוֹת הַלָּלוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ הִתְגַּלּוּת נִסְתָּרוֹת כָּאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אֵין לָנוּ פֶּה וְכֵלִים לְסַפֵּר שֶׁבַח נוֹרָאוֹת גְּדוּלַת כָּל דִּבּוּר וְדִבּוּר מִתּוֹרָה אַחַת, מִכָּל שֶׁכֵּן וְכָל שֶׁכֵּן שֶׁזָּכִינוּ גַּם זָכִינוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ כַּמָּה וְכַמָּה תּוֹרוֹת שִׂיחוֹת וּמַעֲשִׂיּוֹת נוֹרָאוֹת. כַּמָּה מַעֲלוֹת טוֹבוֹת לַמָּקוֹם עָלֵינוּ, אִלְמָלֵא לֹא אָתִינָא לְהַאי לְעָלְמָא אֶלָּא לְמִשְׁמַע דָּא דַּיֵּינוּ.
And let them advocate well on my behalf — that You bring me close to You — through Your mercies. And give me a new heart and a new spirit within me. That I merit to be truly aroused from now on — to return to You in truth and with a whole heart.
דַּע, שֶׁהָעַזֵּי פָּנִים שֶׁבַּדּוֹר הַחוֹלְקִים עַל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת הֵם נִקְרָאִים כְּלָבִים מַמָּשׁ, בִּבְחִינַת "וְהַכְּלָבִים עַזֵּי נֶפֶשׁ", וְהֵם עוֹקְרִים אֶת נַפְשָׁם מִן הַקְּדֻשָּׁה וּמַכְנִיסִים עַצְמָם לִהְיוֹת נִקְרָאִים בְּשֵׁם כְּלָבִים מַמָּשׁ וְגָדוֹל עֲווֹנָם מִנְּשׂוֹא.
Whoever wishes to walk in the path of truth and has compassion upon his truly true life — he must strengthen himself with all his strength to guard himself very greatly from the falsehood and the filth that roam the world. And to be very strong and courageous and a very great warrior — not to surrender himself before the preventers — to stand against those who prevent one from drawing close to the Tzadik. Especially against the arrogant ones — who are the aspect of Haman — who are the wise ones in their own eyes, who wish to distance us from the true Tzadik.
הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת הוּא כְּלָלִיּוּת שֶׁל שִׁבְעָה רוֹעִים וְנִקְרָא רַעְיָא מְהֵימָנָא וְהוּא רוֹעֶה הָאֱמוּנָה לְתַקְּנָהּ וּלְהַשְׁלִימָהּ, וְעִקַּר אֱמוּנַת יִשְׂרָאֵל מַמְשִׁיךְ הוּא לְהַדּוֹר. וְאִי אֶפְשָׁר לָבוֹא לְזֶה הַצַּדִּיק אֶלָּא עַל-יְדֵי עַזּוּת כְּמַאֲמַר רַבּוֹתֵינוּ זַ"ל "הֱוֵי עַז כַּנָּמֵר", כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב: "נֵהַלְתָּ בְּעָזְּךָ אֶל נְוֵה קָדְשְׁךָ", הַיְנוּ עַל-יְדֵי עַזּוּת נִכְנָסִין לְתוֹךְ הַקְּדֻשָּׁה. כִּי יֵשׁ רוֹעִים שֶׁל הַסִּטְרָא אָחֳרָא וְהֵם מְפֻרְסְמֵי הַדּוֹר שֶׁל שֶׁקֶר וְקוֹפִים, וְעִקַּר מַלְכוּתָם הוּא עַל-יְדֵי עַזּוּת וְהֵם כִּכְלָבִים בְּעַזּוּתָם בִּבְחִינַת "וְהַכְּלָבִים עַזֵּי נֶפֶשׁ הֵמָּה רוֹעִים" וְהֵן "פְּנֵי הַדּוֹר כִּפְנֵי הַכֶּלֶב", וְעַל-כֵּן כְּדֵי לְהִנָּצֵל מֵהֶם מִתַּחַת מֶמְשַׁלְתָּם אִי אֶפְשָׁר רַק עַל-יְדֵי עַזּוּת, לַעֲמֹד נֶגֶד עַזּוּתָם וְאָז נִכְנָס לְתוֹךְ הַקְּדֻשָּׁה.
One must be a very great warrior and very strong against all the preventers — and a very great warrior to stand against those who prevent one from drawing close to the Tzadik. And especially not to surrender oneself before the arrogant ones — who are the aspect of Haman — who wish to distance from the Tzadik. As it is written: "And Mordechai did not bow and did not prostrate himself" [Esther 3:2].
עִקַּר הַגְּאֻלָּה הוּא עַל-יְדֵי בִּטּוּל דֵּעוֹת חַכְמֵי הַטֶּבַע, וְהִתְגַּלּוּת אוֹר הַשְׁגָּחָתוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ.
It is impossible to draw close to the true Tzadik — except through nullifying oneself and one's honor and one's name before the honor of His kingship Yisburach — to the very ultimate nullification. And then one will merit to be included in the name of the Tzadik — who is able to bring him close to Hashem Yisburach and His Torah.
בַּחשֶׁךְ הַגָּדוֹל הַמַּר הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר בִּזְמָנֵּנוּ אֵלֶּה שֶׁהוּא סוֹף הַגָּלוּת הָאַחֲרוֹן שֶׁהִתְגַּבְּרָה הַסִּטְרָא אָחֳרָא וְהַבַּעַל-דָּבָר מְאֹד, עִקַּר הַגָּלוּת הוּא רַק מֵחֲמַת שֶׁתּוֹלִין בַּטֶּבַע חַס וְשָׁלוֹם וְאָז הוּא בְּחִינַת לַיְלָה וְחשֶׁךְ, בְּחִינַת הִסְתַּלְּקוּת הָאוֹר, כִּי עִקַּר הָאוֹר הוּא אוֹר ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, הַיְנוּ כְּשֶׁיּוֹדְעִים שֶׁהַכֹּל מִתְנַהֵג בְּהַשְׁגָּחָתוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ, וְזֶה עִקַּר הָאוֹר.
According to the measure in which a person merits to true lowliness and humility — so does he merit to draw close to the Tzadik and to live a good, true and long life.
אֵלּוּ הַנְּפָשׁוֹת הַקְּדוֹשׁוֹת שֶׁנָּפְלוּ לְהַטָעֻיּוֹת וְהַמְּבוּכוֹת שֶׁל חָכְמַת הַטֶּבַע, עִקַּר גְּמַר הַתִּקּוּן וְהָעֲלִיָּה שֶׁל אֵלּוּ הַנְּפָשׁוֹת הַקְּדוֹשׁוֹת הוּא עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק.
Whoever wishes to walk in the path of truth and has compassion upon his truly true life — he must be very strong and a very great warrior — to stand like an iron pillar against the disputants who dispute against the great Tzadik. Who wish to distance him from the true Tzadik — who is able to descend to the very depth of the fall and the descent of each and every one, and to elevate him from there through his wondrous wisdom to the ultimate ascent.
נִתְחַזֵּק וְנִתְאַזֵּר בִּזְרִיזוּת גָּדוֹל לִבְרֹחַ וְלָנוּס אֶל הַצַּדִּיק שֶׁבּוֹ תָּלוּי שְׁלֵמוּת תִּקּוּן נַפְשֵׁינוּ וְכָל תִּקְוַת יִשְׂרָאֵל. הַמֵּאִיר בָּנוּ הֶאָרַת הָרָצוֹן בְּתֹקֶף גָּדוֹל כָּל-כָּךְ עַד שֶׁיָּאִיר לְעוֹלָם וְלֹא יֻפְסַק בְּכָל מִינֵי חשֶׁךְ שֶׁעוֹבְרִים עַל כָּל אָדָם כְּפִי מַה שֶּׁהוּא, שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה מַעֲלֶה מִבְּחִינַת שְׁמָד לְרָצוֹן.
Our entire repair is only through the great Tzadik — the one and only wonder — who is able to descend, etc., as mentioned above. And if the entire world were to nullify themselves before him in perfection — then everything would already be entirely repaired. But not only — to our sorrow — are they not nullifying themselves before him; rather, on the contrary, they dispute against the Tzadik. And they speak insults and blasphemies and mockery and slander and falsehoods against the Tzadik and the truly worthy ones — until the truth is cast to the ground. And through this all the corruptions of the world are caused — and from this is the essential prolonging of the exile. And now all our hope is that everything will be repaired through our righteous Moshiach — who will reveal the light of the true Tzadik in the world. And through this everything will be repaired — and the dispute will be nullified — and there will be a wondrous peace in the world.
עִקַּר הִתְגַּלּוּת הָרָצוֹן וְהַכְנָעַת מֵצַח הַנָּחָשׁ שֶׁהוּא שֹׁרֶשׁ חָכְמַת הַטֶּבַע, הוּא עַל יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק.
Who can express the heroic deeds of Hashem and His immense wonders — that He performed with us and with all Israel — that we have merited that you were chosen as the President of Israel through the salvation of Hashem and His kindnesses.
כְּשֶׁמִּתְחַבְּרִים יַחַד נַפְשׁוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאַחְדוּת וְשָׁלוֹם וְאַהֲבָה כְּאִישׁ אֶחָד בְּלִי שׁוּם פֵּרוּד עַל-יְדֵי אֵיזֶה שִׂנְאָה וּמַחֲלֹקֶת חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, עַל-יְדֵי זֶה יֵשׁ לָהֶם כֹּחַ בְּיוֹתֵר לְקַבֵּל אוֹר הַשָּׂגַת אֱלֹקוּתוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ וְנִכְלָלִים בְּדֵעָה אַחַת וְרָצוֹן חָזָק לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹן ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ.
I greatly exult in the heroic deeds of Hashem, in His immense wonders — that He performed with all Israel: that you were chosen through the merit and power of the Tzadik — after several years — to invest all… that you have merited to recognize and to see and to recognize and to cleave to the true Tzadik — the new light, who has revealed new awesome and wondrous lights beyond all reckoning — to teach true knowledge to every person in the world! May Hashem so continue His kindness — to save you forever.

See and behold — how greatly Hashem Yisburach has performed His great kindness with you: that you gave your soul and invested all your mind and your heart — to recognize and to cleave to the true, holy and awesome Tzadik — the new light, who reveals wondrous and awesome novelties beyond all reckoning — the like of which have never been heard before — to give us life through them, even in the very ultimate complete darkness of these latter days. When Israel now strays greatly in the errors of all those who have turned back from Hashem Yisburach — after the vanity of heresies and false faiths. See — only to receive the honor, and to elevate it to the King of Honor — to Hashem of Hosts, Who is the King of Honor. It is impossible to express all that is in my heart in this matter. And all of this so that you should be able to bring to fruition your powerful longing — to make known and to publicize in the world. You do not know, my dear beloved brother — to what extent this awesome kindness reaches — that we have merited that every single word……

May Hashem strengthen your heart and magnify your daas — to think and to long to have mercy upon Israel with true mercy, to illuminate their eyes with the light of the true Tzadik. For we need salvation and very, very abundant mercy — that we merit to go out from the depths of the sea that spreads in these generations — at the end of this last exile. For which you have merited — having been chosen after several years.

הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת כָּל עִסְקוֹ לְקָרֵב כָּל הָעוֹלָם אֲפִלּוּ הָרְחוֹקִים מְאֹד לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ עַל-יְדֵי שֶׁהוּא זוֹכֶה לְהַכִּיר דַּרְכֵי רַחֲמָיו וְטוּבוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ, וְהוּא מוֹדִיעַ זֹאת לַכֹּל שֶׁיֵּשׁ לְכֻלָּם תִּקְוָה לְהִתְקָרֵב אֵלָיו יִתְבָּרַךְ כִּי עֲדַיִן רַחֲמָיו וְטוּבוֹ עֲלֵיהֶם. וּמִי שֶׁזּוֹכֶה לְהִתְקָרֵב לַצַּדִּיק הַזֶּה שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ זֶה הַכֹּחַ - בְּוַדַּאי יִזְכֶּה לְכָל טוּב לָנֵצַח, אַשְׁרֵי לוֹ, וַאֲפִלּוּ אִם קִלְקֵל וְנִתְרַחֵק מְאֹד מְאֹד, אַף-עַל-פִּי כֵן הַכֹּל יִתָּקֵן בְּוַדַּאי עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, כִּי יֵשׁ לוֹ כֹּחַ לְתַקֵּן כָּל מִינֵי קִלְקוּלִים שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם וּלְהַחֲזִיר הַכֹּל בִּתְשׁוּבָה וּלְכַפֵּר כָּל הָעֲווֹנוֹת וְלַהֲפֹךְ כָּל הָעֲווֹנוֹת לִזְכֻיּוֹת, כִּי הוּא מַמְשִׁיךְ אוֹרוֹת עֶלְיוֹנִים כָּאֵלוּ שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה נִתָּקֵן הַכֹּל.
…Who has compassion upon himself and has begun to sprout good — and who has given his soul and invested all his mind and his heart to cleave himself to the true Tzadik, who labors to return the entire world to good, and draws down a wondrous peace in the world — even if the nations of the world have erred.
הַנַּחַל נוֹבֵעַ הַצַּדִּיק הַגָּדוֹל בַּמַּעֲלָה מְאֹד שֶׁהוּא חִדּוּשׁ שֶׁבַּחִדּוּשִׁים, חִדּוּשׁ נִפְלָא וְנוֹרָא מְאֹד מְאֹד, בְּעֹצֶם עַמְקוּת חָכְמָתוֹ הָרָמָה מְאֹד בְּעֵץ הַחַיִּים הָעוֹלֶה עַד רוּם גָּבְהֵי מְרוֹמִים לְעֵילָא לְעֵילָא, יָכוֹל לְהָאִיר אֲפִלּוּ בְּהָרָחוֹק וְהַגָּרוּעַ מְאֹד הַשָּׂגַת אֱלֹקוּתוֹ, אֲפִלּוּ אִם נָפַל לְמָקוֹם שֶׁנָּפַל.
Who labors to draw down a great peace — even with the nations of the world — so that they return and transform themselves by their own will to the faith of Israel, and subjugate themselves to us — and we will rule over them.
הַמַּעְתִּיק, הַמִּתְפַּלֵּל תָּמִיד בְּעַד שְׁלוֹמוֹ וְטוֹבָתוֹ הַנִּצְחִי.
Who labors always to return the entire world to good — even the heretics and the utter unbelievers and even the nations of the world — until they all transform themselves to the faith of Israel. O Heavens — call out on my behalf! All the possessors of mercy and compassion — have compassion upon me! All the dwellers of the dust — intercede on my behalf! For I am sunk in the miry clay — in the nethermost swamp — and there is no footing — as I am."
