כָּל יִשְׁעוֹ וְכָל חֶפְצוֹ וְכָל מְגַמָּתוֹ שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ זַצַ"ל, שֶׁנִּזְכֶּה לֵילֵךְ עִם דְּבָרָיו, הַיְנוּ לְקַיְּמָם כִּפְשׁוּטָם וּלְהָבִין דָּבָר מִתּוֹךְ דָּבָר, וְלִמְצֹא לְעַצְמוֹ עֵצוֹת בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם תָּמִיד בְּכָל מַה שֶּׁעוֹבֵר עַל הָאָדָם בְּכָל עֵת וּזְמַן, בַּיּוֹם וּבַלַּיְלָה, בְּשָׁכְבּוֹ וּבְקוּמוֹ וּבְלֶכְתּוֹ בַּדֶּרֶךְ, בִּיְמֵי נְעוּרָיו וּבִימֵי בַּחֲרוּתוֹ וּבִימֵי זִקְנוּתוֹ מִתְּחִלָּתוֹ וְעַד סוֹפוֹ, הֵן בֵּינוֹ לְבֵין עַצְמוֹ הֵן בְּהַנְהָגָתוֹ עִם בֵּיתוֹ וְאִשְׁתּוֹ וּבָנָיו.
May Hashem keep him alive with a long and good life — upon the throne of his kingdom — until the coming of the King Moshiach. And may He guard him and save him from the hand of his wicked enemies — enemies of the Torah — enemies of the Shabbat. May they be shamed and confounded.
בִּימֵי חֲנֻכָּה וּפוּרִים מֵאִיר הֶאָרָה נִפְלָאָה שֶׁהוּא הֶאָרַת הַצַּדִּיק הַגָּדוֹל שֶׁיָּכוֹל לְהָאִיר גַּם בְּהַנּוֹפְלִים מְאֹד וְהַחוֹלִים בְּיוֹתֵר.
And may they merit speedily to teshuvah — and fall beneath his feet — and seek forgiveness and pardon.
בַּחֲנֻכָּה מַמְשִׁיךְ כָּל אֶחָד בְּבֵיתוֹ בְּחִינַת קְדֻשַּׁת נֵרוֹת הַמְּנוֹרָה שֶׁהֵם בְּחִינַת הֶאָרַת תֹּקֶף הָרָצוֹן דִּקְדֻשָּׁה, שֶׁנִּמְשָׁךְ עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת בְּחִינַת משֶׁה שֶׁמַּדְלִיק וּמֵאִיר כָּל נַפְשׁוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאוֹר גָּדוֹל בְּכָל מִינֵי חשֶׁךְ וַאֲפֵלָה, וּמַצִּילָם מִשֶּׁטֶף מַיִם רַבִּים שֶׁל כְּפִירוֹת וֶאֱמוּנוֹת כָּזְבִיוֹת שֶׁהֵם בְּחִינַת מֵימֵי הַמַּבּוּל הַמִּתְגַּבְּרִים לְהַחֲרִיב אֶת הָעוֹלָם.
A trembling and a shudder seized me — from the immensity of his pain — from his harsh pain and the great shattering — that his heart has been shattered into broken pieces — from the passing of his righteous wife — precious and noble and delicate of soul.
עִקַּר הָאוֹר שֶׁל כָּל הָאוֹרוֹת שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם נִמְשַׁךְ מֵהַצַּדִּיק הַגָּדוֹל שֶׁהוּא בְּחִינַת מָשִׁיחַ, שֶׁהוּא עוֹסֵק בְּכָל דּוֹר לְהַעֲלוֹת נַפְשׁוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵהֵיכְלֵי הַתְּמוּרוֹת וְהַקְּלִפּוֹת, שֶׁעִקַּר הִתְגַּבְּרוּתָם עַל-יְדֵי עַצְבוּת. וְהַצַּדִּיק הַזֶּה מַמְשִׁיךְ הַשִּׂמְחָה מִמְּקוֹר הַשִּׂמְחָה גַּם עַל הַנְּפָשׁוֹת הַחֲלוּשׁוֹת וְהַיְרוּדוֹת בְּיוֹתֵר, שֶׁזֶּה בְּחִינַת הַדְלָקַת נֵר חֲנֻכָּה לְמַטָּה מֵעֲשָׂרָה טְפָחִים.
Who gave her soul all the days of her life for the people of Israel and for the Land of Israel — chosen from all the lands. Fortunate is her portion — may her soul be bound in the bond of life — together with the souls of all the Tzadikim.
יְמֵי חֲנֻכָּה הֵם יְמֵי הוֹדָאָה, בְּחִינַת שַׁעֲשׁוּעַ עוֹלָם הַבָּא, וְאָז מַמְשִׁיכִין הַשִּׂמְחָה מִקֵּץ הָאַחֲרוֹן, מִבְּחִינַת שְׁלֵמוּת הַגְּאֻלָּה שֶׁתִּהְיֶה עַל-יְדֵי מְשִׁיחַ צִדְקֵנוּ.
And may she pray and advocate well — for him and for his honored family. Whom Hashem has chosen — to save Israel from the hand of our murderous enemies — who have lain in ambush for us to annihilate us — Heaven forbid.

עִקַּר אֲרִיכַת הַגָּלוּת עַל-יְדֵי הַמַּחֲלֹקֶת וְשִׂנְאַת חִנָּם, כִּי הַמַּחֲלֹקֶת שֶׁחוֹלְקִים עַל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת זֹאת הָיְתָה בְּעָכְרֵנוּ יוֹתֵר מִכָּל הָעֲווֹנוֹת. כִּי אַף-עַל-פִּי שֶׁיֵּשׁ הַרְבֵּה עֲווֹנוֹת, בִּפְרָט עַכְשָׁו כְּמוֹ שֶׁמָּצוּי בְּיָמֵינוּ אֵלֶּה בְּיוֹתֵר, ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ יַצִּיל לְהַבָּא, אַף-עַל-פִּי כֵן הַכֹּל הָיָה נִתָּקֵן עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת שֶׁמֵאִיר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל דְּרָכִים קְדוֹשִׁים חֲדָשִׁים לְגַמְרֵי, לְהָשִׁיבָם מִדַּרְכֵיהֶם הָרָעִים וּלְתַקְּנָם כֻּלָּם. אַךְ הַבַּעַל-דָּבָר מִתְפַּשֵּׁט לְאָרְכּוֹ וּלְרָחְבּוֹ לְהַרְחִיק מְאֹד מֵהַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ כֹּחַ הַזֶּה, וּמִשְׁתַּדֵּל בְּתַחְבּוּלוֹתָיו לִמְנֹעַ מִלְּהִתְקָרֵב לַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת שֶׁבּוֹ תָּלוּי עִקַּר שְׁלֵמוּת תִּקּוּן נַפְשׁוֹ וְכָל תִּקְוַת יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְכָל מַה שֶּׁהָאָדָם גָּדוֹל בְּמַעֲלָה בְּיוֹתֵר וְיֵשׁ בּוֹ מַדְרֵגָה וּבְחִינָה גְּבוֹהָה יוֹתֵר, מִתְגַּבֵּר עָלָיו בְּיוֹתֵר לְמוֹנְעוֹ מִלְּהִתְקָרֵב לַצַדִּיק, כִּי אִם הָיָה הוּא מִתְקָרֵב מִי יוֹדֵעַ מַה הָיָה נִצְמַח מִזֶּה טוֹבָה וְתִקּוּן לִכְלַל יִשְׂרָאֵל וּלְכָל הָעוֹלָמוֹת.
