תּוֹרָה צח

A person does not see how far the blemishes of his transgressions reach. But the Tzadik has the eyes of Hashem — as it is written: ""the eyes of Hashem are toward the righteous"" [Psalms 34:16]. And he sees how far the blemishes of the person reach. And when the Tzadik wishes to punish someone — he turns his eyes upon the person — so that he will also see how far his own blemishes reach — which until now had been hidden from him. And there is no greater punishment than when a person sees what he has blemished.
