A person must strengthen himself in prayer — whether he merits to pray with attachment or not. And even when he does not merit to pray with attachment — and his prayer does not flow fluently from his mouth — G-d forbid — even so let him strengthen himself then to pray with all his power and devotion. For when he merits to pray with attachment and his prayer flows fluently as it should — then all the previous prayers will ascend together with that proper prayer.
