תּוֹרָה קיט

On Shabbos — da'as flows to every person. And through this the attribute of compassion grows stronger within him — to have compassion on the creatures. For compassion depends on da'as. (And one who has da'as has compassion — and likewise the opposite: anger — which is the opposite of compassion — comes from foolishness [from the "Kitzur Likutay Moharan Ha-Yoshon"].) And through having compassion — mercies are shown upon him from Heaven.
