The essential and fundamental principle upon which everything depends — is to bind oneself to the Tzadik of the generation and to receive his words regarding everything he says — big matters and small matters — and not to deviate from his words — G-d forbid — right or left. And one must discard all wisdoms from oneself — and set aside one's own mind — as if one has no intellect at all beyond what one receives from the true Tzadik and teacher. And as long as any intellect of one's own remains with oneself — one is incomplete and not yet truly bound to the Tzadik. And likewise — the primary receiving of the Torah was that Israel discarded from themselves all wisdoms and believed in Hashem and in Moshe His servant — in the aspect of: ""a foolish and unwise people"" [Deuteronomy 32:6] — and its translation: ""a people that received the Torah and was not clever."" And likewise — the primary acceptance of the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven is through discarding and nullifying all wisdoms — only to walk in simplicity and straightforwardness. For only the holy Torah is the true wisdom. And all other wisdoms are nullified before it.
