One must specify the sin [l'faret es ha-chayt]. For specifically verbal confession [viduy d'varim] is required — to confess in words each time everything one has done in detail. And there are many obstacles to this. Sometimes the sin is forgotten. And sometimes one remembers the sin but it is difficult to bring forth the word to confess. And through joy of a commandment — such as a commandment-wedding — or when one strengthens oneself to rejoice with great joy at the time of performing a commandment — until one dances much from joy — through this one can verbally confess — and through this one rectifies the blemish of one's sins.
