Immoral thoughts are the primary impurity — the aspect of the impurity of the dead. And charity saves from them. Even so it is forbidden to rely on this and multiply conversation with women — G-d forbid. Rather — what one must speak with them does not harm one — through the merit and power of charity. There are thoughts drawn from a husk of such quality that it is very difficult to be saved from them. And even if one shuts one's eyes — even so in every direction one turns they are encountered. And charity saves from them.
