Torah 449
א. מִדַּת הַנִּצָּחוֹן וְהַמַּחֲלֹקֶת וּמִלְחָמָה נִמְשָׁךְ מֵהַדָּמִים שֶׁעֲדַיִן לֹא עָבַד בָּהֶם אֶת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, כִּי צָרִיךְ כָּל אָדָם לִרְאוֹת שֶׁיַּעֲבֹד אֶת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ בְּכָל הַטִּפֵּי דָּמִים שֶׁנִּמְצָאִים בּוֹ, דְּהַיְנוּ שֶׁיְּדַבֵּר הַרְבֵּה בְּתוֹרָה וּתְפִלָּה, וְאָז יִזְכֶּה לְשָׁלוֹם וִיבַטֵּל כָּל מִדַּת הַנִּצָּחוֹן וְהַמַּחֲלֹקֶת:
The attribute of contentiousness [nitzachon] and conflict and warfare is drawn from blood through which one has not yet served Hashem Yisborach. For every person must see to serve Hashem Yisborach with every drop of blood found within him — by speaking much in Torah and prayer. And through this he will merit to peace and nullify the entire attribute of contentiousness and conflict.
ב. עַל־יְדֵי דִּבּוּרֵי תּוֹרָה וּתְפִלָּה מַעֲלִין כָּל הַנִּצּוֹצוֹת הַנְּפוּלִים, וְנִתְתַּקְּנִים וְנִתְחַדְּשִׁים כָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת, הַנְּפוּלִים וְנֶחֱשָׁב כְּאִלּוּ בָּרָא שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ וְכָל הָעוֹלָמוֹת מֵחָדָשׁ. עַל־כֵּן צְרִיכִין לְדַבֵּר רַק דִּבּוּרִים קְדוֹשִׁים וְלֹא דִּבּוּרִים אֲחֵרִים, כְּדֵי לְהַעֲלוֹת הַנִּיצוֹצוֹת לְתַקֵּן כָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת, וְעַל־יְדֵי־זֶה יִתְקָרֵב בִּיאַת הַמָּשִׁיחַ:
Through words of Torah and prayer — all the fallen sparks are elevated. And all the worlds are rectified and renewed. And it is regarded as if one created heaven and earth and all the worlds anew. Therefore one must speak only holy words — and not other words — in order to elevate the sparks and rectify all the worlds. And through this the coming of the Mashiach will be hastened.
ג. צְרִיכִים לְדַבֵּר הַרְבֵּה בְּתוֹרָה וּתְפִלָּה עַד שֶׁיִּהְיֶה הַגּוּף בָּטֵל לְגַמְרֵי כְּאַיִן וּכְאֶפֶס. וְזֶה זוֹכִין עַל־יְדֵי מִדַּת הַיִּרְאָה, וְעַל־יְדֵי־זֶה יִזְכֶּה לְשָׁלוֹם, וְעַל־יְדֵי־זֶה נִמְשָׁכִים כָּל הַבְּרָכוֹת:
One must speak much in Torah and prayer until the body is completely nullified — as nothing and as nought. And this one merits through the attribute of fear [yirah]. And through this one merits to peace. And through this all the blessings flow.
