Hisbodidus is a great virtue and a very correct and upright path to draw close to Hashem Yisborach. And every person must designate some hours daily in which to express one's conversation before Hashem Yisborach — in the language one speaks. That is — in our region — in the Yiddish language [l'shon Ashkenaz]. For in the language one speaks — it is easier to express all of one's conversation well. And to converse before Hashem Yisborach — whatever is in one's heart. Whether regret and teshuvah for the past — or requests and supplications to merit drawing close to Him, may He be blessed — from this day onward in truth. And if one cannot speak at all before Hashem Yisborach — one should cry out and beseech Hashem Yisborach then — about this itself — that one has become so distant that one cannot even speak before Him, may He be blessed. And ask Hashem, may He be blessed — for mercy and compassion — that He have mercy on one. And open one's mouth — until one can express one's conversation before Him, may He be blessed. And each person — according to what one knows of the wounds of one's heart — how one is distant from Hashem Yisborach — should converse and tell everything before Him, may He be blessed. And the depth of the virtue of this practice cannot be explained or measured. For this practice is above everything. And it encompasses all the service of Hashem. For through this one can come to all good — in this world and in the next. For everything can be accomplished through prayer and supplication. And all the great Tzadikim came to their level only through this practice. And the wise will understand from oneself the greatness of the virtue of this practice. Fortunate is one who designates oneself for this — a designated hour each day. And the rest of the day — be in joy. Also it is good to make prayers from the Toirahs. And see the main text and understand.
