224 - Even the distant from the tzadik Even the distant from the tzadik they receive vitality and illumination from the tzadik by that he covers over them like the tree, that has branches and bark and leaves and all draw vitality from the tree and there are grasses that are distant from the tree and it seems that they do not receive vitality from the tree and in truth also they receive vitality from it because the tree protects over them and saves them from the sun so there is with the tzadik aspects of leaves and branches etc. as explained in another place [in sign 66 letter 1]. And even the distant receive vitality from him by that he covers over them like the tree as above.
