May it be the will before You, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that You be in our help and guard us through Your abundant mercies; and may You distance us from associating with the wicked. And may You guard me that the speech of wicked people who are people of knowledge never be heard by my ears — whose speech is poisonous air of immorality [avirim arsiyim shel niuf] and generates immorality in whoever hears their words. Please, Hashem — have mercy upon me and distance me from this speech. For You know that I am flesh and blood; and it is impossible for me by myself to be guarded from them. And also for I am more brutish than any man and do not know how to distinguish and to know who is the tzadik and who is the wicked — in order to distance myself from him. Therefore I cast my burden upon You — that You guard me through Your abundant mercies and distance me from the wicked; and may I never speak with them nor ever hear their words. And even when it is necessary to speak with them — may You shield me with Your great power and spread over me Your canopy of peace and hide me in the shadow of Your wings; in such a manner that I merit to be rescued from the poison of their words. And may You guard me and save me — that their poison and their arrows do not enter me; and that the blemish of their words do no harm to me. And may You sanctify me in Your supernal holiness.

May it be the will before You, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers; G‑d of Avraham, G‑d of Yitzchak, and G‑d of Yaakov: that You grant us merit through Your abundant mercies and help us and save us always — that we merit to always pray our prayer before You with all our heart and soul; with great and immense intention; in great holiness and purity, in truth and in complete faith; and in awe and in love; and with pure and sound thought. And may You save us through Your mercies from every kind of alien thought in the world — and may You grant us merit and save us that our prayer always be upon holy ground [al admas kodesh]; and may we merit to sanctify the place upon which we stand to pray — in the holiness of the Land of Israel [bikdushas Eretz Yisrael]. And may You stir my heart at the time of prayer — and may I merit to pray with great and awe-inspiring arousal; until my hands are stirred at the time of prayer; and may I merit to raise my hands to Hashem and to clap hand against hand [l'hakos kaf el kaf] with great arousal at the time of prayer — with great joy and with wondrous arousal for Your Name alone in truth. And through the clapping of hand against hand — may I merit that the power of the hands of the Holy One blessed be He be stirred: which are the 28 joints of the [supernal] hands [kʹav pirkin d'yadayim ha'elyonim] — which correspond to the 28 letters of the Act of Creation [kʹav osvan shel ma'asei Bereishis]. And through this may we merit to purify and clarify the air of the place in which we pray — in the aspect of the air of the Land of Israel that makes one wise [avira d'Eretz Yisrael machkim]: which is the holy air; to drive away the impure air of outside the Land; and to draw to the place upon which we stand to pray before You the holy air of the Land of Israel. For all is Yours — and with Your power You created Your world with Your good will: with the 28 joints of the holy hands which are the 28 letters of the Act of Creation; as it is written: Indeed — My hand founded the earth; and My right hand spread out the heavens [Isaiah 48:13]. And it is written: By the word of Hashem the heavens were made — and by the breath of His mouth all their hosts [Psalms 33:6]. And with Your good will You gave power to Israel Your people to conquer the Land of Israel from the seven nations — to purify the land; to drive from there the impure air of the nations and to draw there the holy air; to sanctify the land in the holiness of the Land of Israel; as it is written: He declared to His people the power of His works — to give them the heritage of the nations [Psalms 111:6]. So may You through Your abundant mercies grant us merit and be gracious to us and strengthen us — and give us power and might from Yourself: that we merit in every place where we stand to pray before You — to purify that place through clapping of hands; to thereby stir the power of Your works; and to draw to it the holy air of the Land of Israel; and to drive from it the impure air of outside the Land. And through this may we merit to purify and cleanse our prayer from every kind of alien thought; and from every kind of musing of idolatry and denials [hirhurei avodah zarah u'kfirot]; from all of them may You save us through Your abundant mercies and great lovingkindnesses. And grant us merit to give charity to the Land of Israel — and may we merit to support the fitting poor who dwell in the Land of Israel; until we merit to be absorbed in the air of the Land of Israel. And through this may we merit to drive away from us the floodwaters [mei hamabul] — which are the alien thoughts and confusions that always confuse us and prevent us from Your true service; and in particular at the time of prayer when all of them come upon us and greatly confuse our prayer; until the burden-carrier's strength fails. For through our many iniquities the waters greatly overwhelmed the earth and covered all the high mountains; until it is hard to stand against so many such confusions and alien thoughts — for we have greatly multiplied transgressions. Master of the Universe — Master of the entire universe: You know who and who stand over us in particular at the time of prayer. You know our heart. See now our affliction and our pressing need and our toil and our oppression. Save me, O G‑d — for the waters have entered my soul; I have sunk in the mire of the deep and there is no foothold; I have come into the depths of water and the torrent has swept over me [Psalms 69:2–3]. And grant me merit through Your abundant mercies to the guarding of the bris in truth — and have compassion upon us and be with us always. And through Your great lovingkindness — save us and help us and humble and shatter and uproot and nullify the klipah of wicked Bilam from the world — which is the blemish of the desire of immorality. And draw upon us and upon all Your people Israel the holiness and perishus of Moshe Rabbainu, may he rest in peace; and the holiness of all the true tzadikim — guardians of the bris in truth. In their merit may You revive us and save us — that we too merit to be guardians of the bris in truth. And guard us and save us from now from every kind of blemish of the bris; and from every kind of evil musing; and from every kind of confusion and turbidity of mind. And grant us merit to the holiness of the bris and to the holiness of da'as in the ultimate completeness in truth. Master of the Universe — let not the torrent of waters sweep over me — and let the deep not swallow me; and let not the pit shut its mouth upon me [Psalms 69:16]. Rescue me from mire that I not sink — may I be rescued from my enemies and from the deep waters [Psalms 69:15]. Please, Hashem — have pity and mercy upon me; have pity upon me according to Your abundant mercies. Rescue me please! Deliver me please! Redeem me please! Be gracious to me please! Ahah, Hashem! Rescue! Rescue! I spread out my palms before You. For in such abysses and confusions that have greatly overwhelmed the earth in these days — I know no counsel or device by which to be rescued; except upon You alone I lean. Just as You saved the air of the Land of Israel from the floodwaters — as it is written: [The land] was not rained upon on the day of wrath [Ezekiel 22:24]: so may You through Your abundant mercies grant me merit that the place upon which I pray be holy in the holiness of the Land of Israel. And may You remove and take away from there the floodwaters — the insolent waters [mayim hazeidonim] which are the alien thoughts and confusions that confuse the prayer. And may no confusion and no alien thought or denial have any power, G‑d forbid, to confuse my prayer at all in any confusion in the world. And may my prayer be pure and sound, bright and clean — and may it ascend for mercy and favor before the Throne of Your Glory. Until I merit through prayer to attain the highest attainments — the secrets of the Torah [sodot haTorah]. And may You be glorified and exalted with our prayers in all the worlds — and may there be great delight for You from our prayers and supplications and requests. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: And you shall be a crown of glory in the hand of Hashem — and a royal diadem in the palm of your G‑d [Isaiah 62:3]. Hearer of prayer — to You all flesh shall come [Psalms 65:3]. Hear our prayer and our groaning and our sighing from the depths of the depths — and do not hide Your face from us; and do not shut Your ear from our plea and our outcry. Do not forsake me, Hashem my G‑d — do not be distant from me. Hasten to my help — Hashem, my salvation [Psalms 38:22–23].
