[T2:121א] רבינו ניחם: השמחה באמירת תיבות התפילה עצמה — מדמין לזכייתו של גר חדש.
**Hayah mechazek es anshav, she-kibbelu lefonav be-kablana gedolah, al she-heim rechoikim mi-tefillah me'oid ve-kasheh aleihem me'oid le-his-paleil. Ve-hayah me-chazek osam u-menacheim osam be-chammah leshoinois, she-loi yi-paloi be-da'asam bi-shvil zeh.** *Many of the chassidim came to Rabbeinu and *cried out before him in big k'val* — *we are so far from tefillah, davening is so hard*. Rabbeinu *did not minimize the matzav*. He *me-chazek u-menacheim* in many leshoinois. **Ve-amar: ha-loi etzel ha-ger she-nis-gayer, kammah ze-chiyah hu etzloi k'she-zoiche le-yeida amiras ha-tayvois le-vad ad Boruch She-amar!** *Look at a ger* — *for him, knowing to say the words alone, even up to Boruch She-amar, is an enormous matter*. **Al kein ra'ui la-adam le-nacheim es atzmoi u-le-sameach es atzmoi, al asher al kol panim hu zoiche lomar ha-tayvois shel ha-tefillah.**
[T2:121ב] עצה מעשית: לחלק את התפילה לחלקים קטנים; להשקיע בחלק אחד בכל פעם ("אולי רק זה אני צריך לתקן בגלגול זה"). "מועט מועט בכוונה" עדיף על בלבול בכל התפילה.
**Ish pashut acheir kibel mei-Rabbeinu eitzah me'oid yefah le-his-paleil bi-kavanah.** Rabbeinu told him: *yachshov be-libo, she-eino tzarich le-his-paleil ki im ad Boruch She-amar* — *ki ulai hu tzarich be-gilgul zeh le-saken rak chelek zeh me-ha-tefillah, ki ulai be-gilgul ha-rishon kvar his-pallel be-kavanah she'ar chelkei ha-tefillah, rak chelek zeh ad Boruch She-amar hu tzarich achshav be-gilgul zeh le-his-paleil bi-kavanah*. **Yachshov she-zeh-l'vad hu kol oneso shel ha-tefillah-shel-hayom — ve-al kein yachnis kol kocho be-zeh ha-me'at le-his-paleil bi-kavanah ad Boruch She-amar.** **Ve-achar kach k'she-yagi'a le-Boruch She-amar, yachshov: ulai tzarich le-saken chelek zeh — ke-gon mi-Boruch She-amar ad va-yvarech Dovid — ve-yis-paleil oid osoi ha-chelek bi-kavanah, ve-chen le-halan.** **Ve-ha-klal — she-loi yevalbel da'aso ba-techilah be-chol ha-tefillah** — *ki yih'yeh kasheh u-kaveid alav* — *rak yis-ametz be-chol pa'am lomar me'at me'at bi-kavanah, ki me'at yecholin le-his-paleil bi-kavanah, ve-achar kach oid me'at ve-chu'*.
[T2:121ג] על פי רוב אין יכולים להתפלל בכוונה את כל התפילה — כל אחד חלק אחד לפי בחינתו ("מארי דידין/דרגלין"). כלל ישראל יחד מתפלל את כל התפילה.
**Gam kvar mevu'ar, she-be-emes al pi-rov ein yecholin le-his-paleil kol ha-tefillah bi-kavanah, rak me'at — ki kol echad mis-paleil eizeh chelek me-ha-tefillah le-fi bechinaso, ki is mari de-yedin u-mari de-raglin ve-chu' (ka-mevu'ar bi-makom acheir).** **Each Yid is *mari* of some specific limb of the cosmic Adam — *yedin*, *raglin* — and prays that limb's chelek of tefillah well; another Yid prays *his* limb's chelek. *Ein adam yachoil le-his-paleil kol ha-tefillah bi-kavanah*. The whole tefillah of Klal Yisrael is *davened bi-kavanah be-kibbutz* — *not by any one yochid*.
