Beginner: The Rebbe said: 'The great preciousness of machshavah has just become known to me now.' Machshavah is exceedingly, exceedingly precious — actually whole, real things are made from it, things that endure for as long as the worlds endure, as long as Hashem… and so on. Chochmah is even more precious: machshavah is what merely rises to one's thought; chochmah is what builds, with one's chochmah, structures with one's intellect — and is very precious. The principle: it must be be-emes. Even a simple peshat one is mechadesh is itself a great thing — and must also be be-emes. And the opposite: when not be-emes, things are likewise produced from it — to the contrary. Intermediate: **גודל יקרת המחשבה נודע לי עתה** — ki **ha-machshavah yekarah me'od me'od**, she-na'aseh mimenah **devarim shleimim mamash**, she-yesh la-hem **kiyum kol ha-yamim she-yiskayemu ha-olamos**, kol zeman asher Hashem yisborach... ve-chu'. **Ve-chochmah yekar yoter** — ki machshavah hi mah she-oleh al machshavto bilvad, **ve-chochmah hi she-boneh be-chochmaso binyanim be-sichlo** — ve-hu yakar me'od. **Ve-ikar ha-davar — she-yiheyeh be-emes.** Va-afilu peshat she-mechadshin — gam-ken davar gadol me'od, ve-tzarich she-yiheyeh be-emes. **Ve-gam le-heipech — k'she-hu be-lo emes na'aseh mimenah gam-ken devarim le-heipech.**
