The Rebbe said: 'The great preciousness of machshavah has just become known to me now.' Machshavah is exceedingly, exceedingly precious — actually whole, real things are made from it, things that endure for as long as the worlds endure, as long as Hashem… and so on. Chochmah is even more precious: machshavah is what merely rises to one's thought; chochmah is what builds, with one's chochmah, structures with one's intellect — and is very precious. The principle: it must be be-emes. Even a simple peshat one is mechadesh is itself a great thing — and must also be be-emes. And the opposite: when not be-emes, things are likewise produced from it — to the contrary.
