Bechirah is in the hand of a person to do as he wishes — and even more, all things are in the hand of the Israelite person to conduct everything as he wishes, as his bechirah. For with Yisrael there is bechirah be-yadam over every single thing in the world. Among others there are matters in which they are mukhrachim, compelled. But by an Israelite, every single thing he does — even traveling somewhere or the like — has avodah in it; therefore he has bechirah over all.
