אָדָם הַמִּתְנַהֵג בִּפְרִישׁוּת וְאַחַר־כָּךְ חוֹזֵר מִפְּרִישׁוּתוֹ, עַל־יְדֵי זֶה הוּא נוֹפֵל לְתַאֲוָה נוֹסֶפֶת מִמַּה שֶּׁהָיָה לוֹ קֹדֶם פְּרִישׁוּתוֹ.

1. One who conducts himself with abstinence and afterwards retracts from it, falls into additional lust, more than he had before his abstention.

הַפְּרִישׁוּת מֵבִיא שֹׂבַע.

2. Abstinence brings satiety.

פְּרִישׁוּת מִתַּשְׁמִישׁ חָשׁוּב כְּמוֹ תַּעֲנִית.
