Yemei Moharnat
And behold — still I had no beginning at all for the printing — only what those of Dashiv and Teplik and a few here in Breslov had pledged. And all of them had not yet paid anything in cash at all — they had only pledged. And it was known that even after people pledge — there was still great effort needed before one could collect from them. And much was lost — not coming to collection at all. And in particular since all the donations mentioned above were not even a third or a quarter of the expenses needed for the printing. And behold — my thoughts were wandering here and there — how to steal myself away from home to travel through the region for the printing. For I had many obstacles to this. And Hashem Blessed be He arranged that I had a share in a certain shiduch [match] that needed to be concluded. And the in-laws traveled from Nemirov to conclude the match in the holy community of Dashiv. And they had no intention at all of taking me with them — for it had not occurred to them to trouble me with this. For it was not a match of great and important people — and it was in no way to my honor to travel on such a matchmaking matter. In particular since I had no dealings with matchmaking — and I had never traveled on such matters. But I myself told them: I will travel with you. And my intention was — in order to be as if stealing myself away from home — to go to the holy community of Dashiv for the matchmaking. And from there it was close to the place where Rabbi Shimon mentioned above was sitting. And I would travel from there with him through the region for the printing.
