And in that year — the year 5595 — many troubles passed over us — may the Merciful One save us. For the dispute was stirred up by the rav of Savran in such a murderous way as had never been heard — as will be explained further on in a special pamphlet. And Hashem Blessed be He had already saved us in His mercy and many wonders. Blessed be Hashem who did not give us as prey for their teeth. But they still ground their teeth against us. And all of us — in particular I myself — were in great dangers. But salvation belongs to Hashem. I will not fear. Hashem is for me in my help and so on. Hashem is for us in our help and so on. Many are the things You have done, Hashem my G-d and so on. Also now do not abandon us and do not forsake us and so on. Until old age and gray hair — G-d do not abandon me — until I tell of Your arm to the generation — to all who come — Your might. Amen.
