בָּרוּךְ הַשֵּׁם, יוֹם ג' בְּשַׁלַח תר"ד טְשֶׁעהרִין.

בָּאתִי לְפֹה מִקְּרוּמִינְטְשַׁאג קֹדֶם שַׁבַּת פָּרָשַׁת בֹּא הֶעָבַר וְאִם יִרְצֶה הַשֵּׁם בְּשָׁבוּעַ זֹאת אֶסַּע לְמֶעדְוֶועדִיבְקֶא וּמִשָּׁם לְטִירָהאוִויצֶע הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יוֹלִיכֵנִי לְשָׁלוֹם. וּכְבָר שָׁלַחְתִּי לוֹ מִכְתָּבִי מִפֹּה בְּפָרָשַׁת וָאֵרָא. אַחַר כָּךְ קִבַּלְתִּי מִכְתָּבְךָ בְּשָׁבוּעַ זֹאת. כָּעֵת אֲנִי טָרוּד מְאֹד וּרְצוֹנִי חָזָק לְמַלְּאוֹת רְצוֹנְךָ לִכְתֹּב לְךָ אֵיזֶה דְּבַר הִתְחַזְּקוּת בְּשִׂמְחָה. אַךְ כְּבָר כָּתַבְתִּי לְךָ הַרְבֵּה הַרְבֵּה, וְכָל סְפָרִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים לְפָנֶיךָ הֲפֹךְ בָּהֶם וְכוּ'. וְכָעֵת אֵין פְּנַאי כְּלָל, כִּי הַפָּאסְט נְחוּצָה, וַאֲנִי כּוֹתֵב עַתָּה מְעֻטָּף בְּטַלִּית וַעֲדַיִן לֹא הִנַּחְתִּי תְּפִלִּין דְּרַבֵּנוּ תָּם. חֲזַק וֶאֱמַץ בְּנִי חֲבִיבִי וְשַׂמַּח נַפְשְׁךָ בִּישׁוּעָתוֹ שֶׁזָּכִינוּ לְהִתְקָרֵב לְמִי שֶׁנִּתְקָרַבְנוּ, הוּא הֵטִיב לָנוּ הוּא מֵטִיב לָנוּ הוּא יֵטִיב לָנוּ וְכוּ'. וּבְחַסְדּוֹ הִשְׁפִּיעַ לִי הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ חִדּוּשִׁים נִפְלָאִים עַל אֵלֶּה הַשָּׁלֹשׁ הֲטָבוֹת וְהֵם כְּבָר כְּתוּבִים בְּחַסְדּוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ (עַיֵּן לִקּוּטֵי הַלָכוֹת פִּדְיוֹן בְּכוֹר הֲלָכָה ה). אַךְ אִי אֶפְשָׁר לְבָאֵר עַל פְּנֵי הַשָּׂדֶה. קַוֵּה לַה' בְּכָל עֵת וְיוֹשַׁע לְךָ.
