תּוֹרָה רח - צוֹפֶה רָשָׁע לַצַּדִּיק

What the wicked do — causing sufferings to the Tzadikim and pursuing the Tzadikim — this is a cause from Hashem Yisborach — so that the Tzadik will examine himself and scrutinise his deeds. And they are like guardians — to guard the Tzadik from falling into materiality. Also — the small amount of conflict that exists against the Tzadikim is good for them. For the conflict is like a cover for them — so that they are not revealed and become more famous than necessary. But those who dispute wish to cover them entirely — to remove them from the world — G-d forbid. But Hashem Yisborach will not abandon them into their hands.
