תּוֹרָה ריב א. עַל־יְדֵי הַמְחָאַת כַּף אֶל כַּף בִּשְׁעַת הַתְּפִלָּה, עַל־יְדֵי־זֶה יְכוֹלִים לְדַבֵּר כָּרָאוּי הַשְּׁבָחִים וְהַתְּאָרִים שֶׁאָנוּ מְכַנִּים וּמְדַמִּים אוֹתוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ, שֶׁזֶּה בְּחִינַת שֶׁמַּבִּיטִין בִּתְמוּנַת ה'. גַּם זֶה בְּחִינַת וִידֵי אָדָם מִתַּחַת כַּנְפֵיהֶם (יְחֶזְקֵאל י, כא), כִּי הַכְּנָפַיִם הֵם הַדִּבּוּרִים בְּחִינַת: "וּבַעַל כְּנָפַיִם יַגֵּיד דָּבָר" (קֹהֶלֶת י, כ). גַּם עַל־יְדֵי־זֶה נִכְלָל הַתְּפִלָּה בְּתוֹךְ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב וְתוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה: ב. כֹּחַ הַדִּבּוּר בָּא עַל־יְדֵי הִתְקַשְּׁרוּת לַצַּדִּיקִים:
Through clapping palm against palm during prayer — through this one can properly speak the praises and descriptions with which we name and liken Him, may He be blessed. Which is the aspect of gazing upon the form of Hashem. Also this is the aspect of ""and the hands of a man beneath their wings"" [Ezekiel 10:21] — for the wings are the words — in the aspect of: ""and the winged one tells a matter"" [Koheles 10:20]. Also through this the prayer is included within the written Torah and the oral Torah. The power of speech comes through attachment to the Tzadikim.
