Through prayer with devotion — binding the thought to the speech of prayer with a strong and firm bond — one merits to attain the hidden and inner aspects of Torah [nistoros u-f'nimiyus ha-Torah]. And this prayer brings influences and blessings to the world. And therefore the Holy One, blessed be He, longs for one's prayer — for He desires to pour His goodness upon His creatures.
