May it be Your will, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that You help me through Your abundant mercies to draw upon myself the great holiness and joy of Shabbos at every time; and to draw the illumination of the holy Shabbos upon the six weekdays [ shalosh ha'yamim she'lifnei Shabbos ]; and to always be strengthened and enlivened and renewed from the power of the holy Shabbos; in such a manner that I never fall into sadness or depression at all throughout all the days of the week — because of the abundance of the strength of the joy and exultation of the holy Shabbos. Master of the Universe — what shall I say and what shall I speak? In everything that I begin to pray and to entreat before You — I immediately become confused and my mind is disturbed; and I do not know what to ask and what to request. For I have already fallen so very far down in all matters; and it is impossible to explain or to enumerate even the beginning of the beginning of my falls. And therefore I have come before You: please grant me merit speedily to complete fear of Your majesty [ yiras ha'romemut ]; and to complete settled mind [ yishuv ha'da'as ]; and to complete and whole fear of You — with complete knowledge [ da'as shalem ] without any foolishness at all. Master of the Universe — awesome and terrible One: help me and save me and grant me merit speedily to the fear of majesty [ yiras ha'romemut ] — to know and to sense and to feel at every time and every moment that You are the King; the King of kings; the Holy One blessed be He; Whose glory fills the entire earth; Whose honor fills the entire universe; before Whom the heavenly host and the earthly host bow down. And help me and save me that I merit to arrive always at true and authentic prayer and at true conversation [ sichas da'as ] before You; in such a manner that all my prayers and conversations shall truly be a prayer for the Most High [ tefillah l'El Elyon ]. And help me and save me that I merit through this to draw down upon myself awesome and wonderful salvations from You always; and may I merit to draw down great salvation for the entire Jewish people; as it is written: With joy shall you draw water from the springs of salvation [ Isaiah 12:3 ]. Master of the Universe — full of mercy; good and beneficent to all: grant me merit to taste the true taste of Shabbos delight [ ta'am oneg Shabbos ]; for You know how very far I am from this in truth. And have mercy upon me and help me and save me — that I merit to always receive the holy Shabbos with great holiness and purity; and may I merit through the holiness of the holy Shabbos to repair all my blemishes; as is well known to You. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer [ Psalms 19:15 ]. He Who supports the wholesome — please save! Strong forever — please grant success! Perfect in His deeds — answer us on the day we call [cf. Psalms 20:10 ]. Help us and save us and grant us merit to wholesomeness [ temimut ] and simplicity before You; and to walk in simplicity and wholesomeness always as Your good will desires; and as the will of Your truly G‑d-fearing and wholesome tzadikim desires in truth. Master of the Universe — Master of all worlds: I know and I believe with complete faith that even the simplest action and even the most ordinary deed that a Jewish person performs in the service of G‑d — even the least of the least and the most minimal of all — contains within it depth and wonders and sublimities that are impossible to explain or to describe. For I believe that the entire Torah — both the written Torah and the oral Torah — and all the holy books without end; and all the words of counsel and guidance of the holy true tzadikim — all of them have been already hinted at and alluded to in the most minimal and simple deed. And therefore I have come before You: strengthen me and help me and save me that I merit to approach Your holy service always simply and wholesomely — without engaging in any wisdoms at all; and to serve You always in wholesomeness and in complete simplicity — without any wisdoms whatsoever. And have mercy upon us and upon our children and upon all the children of Your people the House of Israel; and guard and save them and us from the damage of foreign wisdoms [ chakhmos chitzoniyos ]; and in particular the young ones of Israel — the children; guard them and save them from those who would bend their mind with all sorts of heresy and confusion of faith. And may You arouse great mercy upon them and upon their hearts — to nullify and to abandon all the foreign wisdoms; and to serve You in wholesomeness and simplicity; until they merit to cling to You in truth — without the slightest pride or arrogance before You at all. And may no obstacle or confusion arise before them at all in any aspect of holiness — not in Torah study and not in prayer and not in good deeds; but rather may they merit at every time and moment to serve You with a fresh new heart; to be renewed always; with great longing and desire; in wholesome simplicity. And may you fulfill in us the verse: An eye has not seen, O G‑d besides You — that which He shall do for those who await Him [ Isaiah 64:3 ].
And help us and save us through Your abundant mercies — that we merit to offer our prayer before You always in complete wholesomeness and simplicity; and not to rely at all on our own intelligence and understanding in prayer; but rather to pour out our words before You simply and wholesomely — like a child who pours out his words before his father; until we merit to true and complete prayer before You in truth. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer [ Psalms 19:15 ]. Be gracious to me O G‑d — for man gasps for me; all day he fights and oppresses me. My enemies gasp for me all day; for many fight against me from on high [ Psalms 56:2–3 ]. Master of the Universe — please have mercy upon me; and help and save me and strengthen me always against my enemies and those who hate me and those who seek my harm — whether they be of the category of permitted or of the category of forbidden; whether of the category of the body or of the category of the spirit and the soul; whether they be revealed or hidden. And may You greatly strengthen me against the evil inclination that oppresses and fights against me all day and every day without rest and without pause; and against all the categories of obstacles and hindrances and confusions and temptations and enticements that it sends upon me and against all of Israel at every time. Have mercy upon me and upon all of Your people Israel and help and save us always; and grant us merit to escape from all of them; and bring us quickly to complete and true repentance before You in truth. And may You give us power and strength to overpower our inclination always; and the strength to pray and to speak before You at every time; for You know — great and awesome G‑d: that I have no strength at all except to cast my eyes before You and to wait and to hope for Your compassion and Your lovingkindness and Your salvations. And help me and save me speedily and immediately; and fulfill with me all that I need from You — in body and in soul and in spirit; in this world and in the World to Come. And may You grant me and all of Israel merit to true and complete repentance before You speedily and immediately; in such a manner that we return to You with a whole heart from now; and may we not deviate from Your will right or left; and may we merit to fulfill all Your commandments as You desire — with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our might. And may we merit to true Torah study always; and to a settled mind; and to fear of Heaven in truth; and to wholesome and complete faith; and to all the good attributes in the world; and to guard the holy Bris [ shmirat ha'bris ] in perfection; and to holy and pure speech; and to the love of every single Jew; and to constant joy; and to the holy Shabbos; and to all the holy festivals; and to charity; and to prayer; and to true Torah study; and to all the mitzvos and good deeds. And may we merit to behold the building of the holy Temple speedily in our days; and may the light of the countenance of the living King shine upon us always. And may all the souls of Israel be included in the full and complete repair; and may there be no remnant of the exile; and may He Who makes peace in His heights — through His mercies make peace upon us and upon all of Israel; and say: Amen. Singular Master — full of mercy; Hashem G‑d of truth: guard me and save me through Your abundant mercies and Your great lovingkindnesses — that I not err and go astray in the ways of the world; and that I not mislead myself and not mislead others. Master of the Universe: You know the immensity and the strength and the loftiness of the holiness and the sublimity of the level of the true tzadikim of every generation — and in particular of the true tzadikim of our generation. For You know all their holy and awesome and wondrous ways; and all the self-sacrifice that they sacrifice themselves always at every time and every moment — to draw the Jewish people [ Yisrael ] close to their Father in Heaven. And You know all the obstacles that they suffer and all the efforts they make at every time — for our sake; to arouse in us the love and the fear of G‑d. And therefore I have come before You — full of mercy; Who bestows lovingkindness upon the guilty: that You pour Your mercy upon us; and give us power and strength to truly draw close to the true holy tzadikim ; and to cling to them in truth; and to set our portion with them forever. And help us that we merit to give much charity [ tzedakah ] with a pleasant countenance [ seiver panim yafot ] to fitting poor people and to the truly worthy ones of Israel who need to be supported; and may we merit to give charity with a generous eye [ ayin tovah ] and with a good heart — always; until we merit through the charity to draw down and to elevate the holiness throughout all the holy worlds — higher and higher. Please Hashem — Who loves righteousness and justice [ Psalms 33:5 ]: grant us merit through Your abundant mercies to fulfill the commandment of charity in truth — as is truly fitting; and in particular — to fulfill it properly in all its details and fine points and intentions; and to draw down the true meaning of the tzedakah [ din tzedakah ] and the true meaning of proper judgment [ mishpat ]; and to truly unify the Name in the aspect of charity [ bechinas tzedakah ]; and to draw down the lovingkindness through the judgment and the judgment through the lovingkindness — until the verse is fulfilled: Lovingkindness and truth have met; righteousness and peace have kissed [ Psalms 85:11 ]. And may we merit through the charity to complete repair of the soul [ tikkun ha'neshamah ]; and to repair the blemishes of all the incarnations [ gilgulim ]; and to raise up and to elevate all the fallen sparks [ nitztozos ] to their holy root; until we merit to a great and complete salvation — in such a manner that we merit to be as Your good will desires in truth. And grant me merit to engage in Your holy Torah and in Your true service in wholesomeness [ temimut ] in truth; and not to deviate from it right or left at all. As for me — my prayer is to You, Hashem , at a time of favor; O G‑d — in the abundance of Your lovingkindness; answer me in the truth of Your salvation [ Psalms 69:14 ]. The eyes of all look expectantly to You; and You give them their food in its season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing [ Psalms 145:15–16 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon us; and give us livelihood [ parnasah ] and sustenance in abundance and with ease; and in particular — grant each and every one of Israel ample livelihood with ease and with honor and with dignity; that each one not need to toil and to struggle greatly for his livelihood. And help us that we not need to seek our livelihood from the hands of flesh and blood at all; and that we not need to ask and to beg at all. For to You alone are our eyes directed; for You alone our eyes look and wait.

Master of the Universe: You are exalted above all causes and all reasons [ le'eila min kol ha'ilot v'ha'sibot ]; and You are able to arrange causes and reasons for our benefit and for our livelihood — that do not even require a natural process at all. And You know the immensity of the suffering of Israel from the burden of livelihood and sustenance; and how it confuses the mind and the thought and removes the heart from proper service of G‑d. And therefore: have mercy upon us and help and save us and give us our livelihood with ease — that the burden of livelihood not weigh upon us at all; and that we not be confused or disturbed because of it at all in our service of G‑d. And help us always that we merit to truly find our livelihood; and may our food always be close and easy to obtain — like the suckling child who does not suffer at all to receive his nourishment from his mother. And You — Who satisfies abundantly [ Psalms 103:5 ]: Who satisfies your old age with good; that your youth be renewed like the eagle [ Psalms 103:5 ]. Our Father in Heaven — act for Your sake and have mercy upon us; and arrange causes for our benefit; in such a manner that You bring to each and every one of Israel their livelihood with ease — close to them and with no great toil; just as our masters of blessed memory have already said: the livelihood of a person is as difficult as the splitting of the Red Sea [ Pesachim 118a ]. And just as You split the Red Sea for Israel — so may You split and open for us gates of livelihood and sustenance at every time and every moment; that our livelihood be arranged for each one of us close to us; in a permitted manner [ b'heter ] and in holiness and in purity; and may our sustenance come to us from the far ends of the earth [ Proverbs 31:14 ]. Speedily in our days — Amen; so may it be Your will. Master of the Universe: Your way, our G‑d, is to be slow to anger toward the wicked and toward the good — and that is the praise of Your greatness. And You have told us that even when someone has sinned and rebelled against You greatly — You still wait for him and desire his repentance; and he should not despair of Your mercy — as it is written: Therefore wait for Me — says Hashem — until the day I rise up as a witness [ Zephaniah 3:8 ]. Surely G‑d has heard; He has listened to the voice of my prayer [ Psalms 66:19 ]. Therefore Your servant found his heart still to pray before You; and still and still — standing on his watch [ Habakkuk 2:1 ]; to pour out his heart like water before Your countenance [ Lamentations 2:19 ]; at every time and every moment; and not to be discouraged from prayer at all — no matter what may be. And therefore I have come to seek mercy and compassion before You: have mercy upon me and help me and save me and strengthen me always — that I always merit to pour out my speech and my prayer and my heart before You; and that I not be discouraged or disheartened from prayer and from calling out to You at all — no matter what; however many times I have already prayed and asked and not been answered; for I trust in Your vast and abundant mercy; and I know that Your mercies are never exhausted. And may You not withhold good from me — from now and forever. And have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and give me complete and settled holy knowledge [ da'as shalem dikdushah ]; in such a manner that I merit through this complete holy knowledge to know and to understand: who I am and what I am; and what has passed over me; and what great repair and what great good is hidden within me from the holiness of Israel [ kedushah shel Yisrael ]. And may I merit through this holy knowledge always to strengthen myself before You; and may I merit through this to arouse and to awaken others — both near and far — as is possible at every time; to make known to them all the good that is hidden within them from the holiness of Israel. Have pity and compassion upon me and upon all of Israel — for the sake of Your Name and for the sake of Your true tzadikim and for the sake of the covenant of our fathers. And help me at every time and every moment to merit to know the full truth about myself — truly and without any self-deception. And may You be exalted and sanctified and praised and glorified through me; and through each and every one of Your people Israel. Be not far from me O G‑d; my G‑d — hasten to my help; O Lord — my salvation [ Psalms 22:20; 38:23 ]. Grant peace; goodness and blessing; life; grace and lovingkindness and mercy — upon us and upon all of Israel Your people . Master of the Universe — have mercy upon us and give us peace; for peace is the great vessel for all blessings [ kli makil et kol ha'berakhot ]. And You know what damage and loss comes from the lack of peace, G‑d forbid — from quarrel and dispute; the magnitude of the blemish and the loss that comes from this, G‑d forbid. Have mercy upon us for the sake of Your Name; and grant merit to us and to all of Your people the House of Israel; and help us and save us that we merit to great peace always — each person with his fellow; and each person within himself — in his own heart and mind; and may there be true peace between all the scholars and leaders of Israel; and may there be no dispute among the Torah sages at all. And may You bring the spirit of peace upon all the leaders of the generation; and may the love of peace and the pursuit of peace be drawn from the Torah — from all who study Your Torah. And help and save us that we merit to repent and to do complete repentance in the aspect of the holy Bris ; for the Bris is the great foundation of peace. And may the verse be fulfilled for us: Draw me after You and let us run; the King has brought me into His chambers — we shall exult and rejoice in You [ Song of Songs 1:4 ]; and the verse: Until Shiloh comes — and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples [ Genesis 49:10 ]; the name of Mashiach is Shiloh — as our masters of blessed memory said. And may the rule not depart from the House of Judah — until the coming of Mashiach our righteous one speedily in our days.
כח תַּמּוּז
Master of the Universe — fulfill our requests for good with mercy; for my needs are very many and my mind is too short to explain or expound even the smallest fraction of them. And everything that I need — I have already mentioned before You many times; and You know all. And now I have come once again to multiply prayer and supplication before You — to pour out my heart like water before the countenance of Hashem [ Lamentations 2:19 ]; and to seek and to beg mercy and compassion and favor before You — that You grant me and all of Israel all our needs; and deal with us only through mercy and through great compassion. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: All Your works shall praise You, Hashem ; and Your pious ones shall bless You [ Psalms 145:10 ]; They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might [ Psalms 145:11 ]. He Who makes peace in His heights — through His mercies may He make peace upon us and upon all of Israel; and say: Amen. High and exalted — He dwells forever; and holy is His Name. He dwells on high and in holiness; yet with the crushed and the lowly of spirit — to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the crushed [ Isaiah 57:15 ]. Master of the Universe — strengthen me and help me and save me that I merit to true humility always; and in particular in the aspect of Moshe our teacher — peace be upon him — who was the most humble of all men upon the face of the earth [ Numbers 12:3 ]. Master of the Universe: You know the immeasurable confusions that I have in this matter; and in particular — You know well how very far I am from true humility; and how many kinds and aspects of pride and arrogance are clothed and hidden within me in all sorts of ways without measure and without number. And it is impossible to explain to You even the beginning of the beginning of this — for I do not even know all the kinds of pride and arrogance that are found within me; for most of them are hidden from me. But before You — who searches hearts and minds [ bochein kelayos va'lev ] — everything is revealed and known. And therefore have mercy upon me and help me and save me: that I merit to know the truth always — where I truly stand; what all my deeds and all my thoughts really are; and that I not deceive myself in any way. And may I merit through this to true humility; and to subdue my heart always completely before You — as is truly fitting in truth; and without looking at any obstacle or hindrance or confusion. And help me and strengthen me and embolden me always; until I merit to draw close to Hashem blessed be He — also the most degraded and distant ones of Israel; and to bring them close and to raise them; and to draw them close to the true tzadikim and to Torah study and to prayer; and to repair their souls and to sweeten their judgments; and to raise them from below. And may I merit to build and to establish holy communities [ kehilot kedoshos ]; and may I merit to draw many to the service of G‑d; and may I never be ashamed before any person in the world from anything related to the holiness of Your Name. And may I merit through this to draw down and to draw out the hidden holy sparks from all the fallen and sunken places; and to raise them and to bring them close to their holy root; and to make known in the world the greatness and the glory of Your Name — in all the aspects and all the levels. And may I have strength and merit and ability in all of this through the power and the merit of the true holy tzadikim of every generation — and the great tzadikim of our generation; who sacrifice themselves always for this. And may You be with me; and may You be my help and my deliverer. O Hashem — do not delay. Amen and Amen. Gladden the soul of Your servant — for to You, Hashem , I lift my soul [ Psalms 86:4 ]. I will exult and rejoice in Your lovingkindness — for You have seen my affliction; You have known the distress of my soul [ Psalms 31:8 ]. Many are the pains of the wicked; but the one who trusts in Hashem — lovingkindness encompasses him [ Psalms 32:10 ]. Be glad in Hashem and rejoice, O righteous ones; and cry out with joy — all who are upright of heart [ Psalms 32:11 ]. Master of the Universe — strengthen me and help me and save me always to be only in great joy and only in exultation before You; and may I merit to push away and to remove and to banish every sadness and every anxiety from my heart always; in such a manner that I always merit to true and complete joy in You. Let Israel rejoice in its Maker; let the children of Zion exult in their King [ Psalms 149:2 ]. Master of the Universe — full of mercy; Master of joy and exultation; in Whose dwelling place is joy [ ha'simchah bim'onekha ]: help me and save me that I merit to always be in great and true joy. For You know — G‑d of mercy and compassion: that the entire life of a person depends only on joy; and all his service of G‑d depends only on joy; and without joy it is impossible to serve You at all; and all manner of sadness comes only from the evil inclination and from the forces of impurity [ sitr'in d'tuméi ] — that constantly pursue a person to sadden him and to dishearten him in every possible way; and all the cleverness of the evil inclination is only through sadness — to confuse the mind and to prevent one from serving You. And therefore I have come before You — Master of joy: give me the power to serve You in great joy always; and to banish and to nullify all manner of sadness from my heart and from my mind always. And grant me merit and help me and save me: that I merit to draw from the great and true joy of the tzadikim — who are always in perfect joy before You; who truly know how to be joyful before You at every time. And may I merit to attach [ l'hitkasher ] to their joy; and to draw their holy joy into my heart — until I am truly joyful before You always. And may I merit through the great joy to the guarding of the holy Bris ; and to all the repairs and salvations that depend on joy; for I am deeply in need of all of these. And may no stranger approach; and I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine — hold fast to You and let us not release You. Master of all worlds — Joy of Israel: Gladden the soul of Your servant — for to You, Hashem , I lift my soul [ Psalms 86:4 ]. Have mercy upon me and help me and save me — that I merit to be always in great joy; and that I not come through the joy, G‑d forbid, to any lightmindedness [ kalus rosh ]; but rather only to true holy joy. And may I merit through the joy to drive away and to push away all manner of illnesses from the world; for joy is the essence of the vitality of a person.

Heal us, Hashem , and we shall be healed; save us and we shall be saved — for You are our praise [ Jeremiah 17:14 ]. And bring up a complete healing and restoration [ arukah ] speedily to all the sick of Your people Israel; and in particular those who are sick of heart and sick of mind through sadness. For You know — faithful Healer: that all manner of illnesses of the body come only through sadness and anguish; and when a person merits to great and true joy — then all the illnesses flee and depart. And therefore have mercy upon all the sick of Israel; and send them all a complete healing — both of body and of soul; and send them all the joy of Your salvation; and may the verse be fulfilled in them: Rejoice in Hashem and be glad, O righteous ones; and cry out with joy — all who are upright of heart [ Psalms 32:11 ]. A prayer of the destitute when he is faint — and before Hashem he pours out his speech [ Psalms 102:1 ]. Master of the Universe: help me to speak before You with new words always; with words of prayer and supplication; and to always find and to create new words of prayer — that are truly new; not as things I have already said and done many times without any renewal. For You know — G‑d of truth: that I do not have even a single new word to speak before You at all; for everything has been exhausted and worn out from repetition; and I have fallen and sunk so very far until I do not know from where to begin and how to start. And the evil inclination is great in confusing and preventing and blocking speech before You. But Your Torah has already strengthened us — and said: Pour out your heart like water before the countenance of Hashem [ Lamentations 2:19 ]. And You Yourself also told us not to despair — no matter what. And You already said to us through Your true tzadikim : that even one who has fallen to the very bottom and cannot speak one true word before You — even such a one must not despair at all; but must simply not move away from before Your face; and must simply stand before You always; and must not cease calling and crying out to You — no matter what. G‑d forbid — were it not for Your Torah as my delight — I would have perished in my poverty [ Psalms 119:92 ]. Therefore I have come before You — full of mercy: that You cause to flow upon me true and genuine new words from You always; from the source of truth and purity; and may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart always be new and true before You — words of prayer and supplication and praise and thanksgiving; and may the evil inclination never be able to silence my mouth before You; and may no despair or frustration come upon my heart; and may I never cease and never relent — and never return to folly. Help me — O full of mercy; save me — O full of salvations. And open the eyes of my intellect and my understanding in the way of true and authentic wholesomeness [ temimut amiti ]; that I merit to look at everything with simplicity and wholesomeness — and not to apply any foreign cleverness at all to any matter of holiness. And help me and save me that I not stumble in any aspect of the holiness at all. And may You send me help from the holy place; and may You strengthen me from Zion [ Psalms 20:3 ]; and may You always renew and refresh me with new and wondrous loving kindnesses from You; such that You always perform wonders with me — things that have never been done before in the world. Help me — help me; save me — save me: for now I have no strength at all except to spread my hands before You; and to cast my eyes before Your face; like a poor man who knocks on the door — and does not move away from there. And have mercy upon me and be filled with compassion upon me; and open a crack of light for me; and from that crack help me to see all the light; and may I merit to truly return to You and to be as Your good will desires in truth — always. Singular One — Primordial One; strong and mighty: strengthen me and embolden me in prayer and in conversation before You always. For I know — that all the repairs of the world and all the salvations of the world come only through prayer; and the essence of the repair is through prayer; and therefore everything depends on it. And therefore please strengthen me always in prayer before You at every time and every moment — that I not cease from prayer and supplication before You; and that I merit to multiply prayers of repentance before You; and that I pour out my heart before You always — like water; with great and bitter crying and supplication; and that I not be ashamed before any person in the world from this; and that I not restrain myself from crying and from weeping before You because of any shame whatsoever; and that I not look to the left or to the right at all from my crying and my supplication before You at all times; but rather to pour out my heart before You as a man pours out his heart before his father or his master or his teacher; and that I merit to walk thus always — without any shame at all in the world; and that I not be ashamed and not be confused at all before any created being; only before You alone — G‑d. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer [ Psalms 19:15 ]. Draw me after You and let us run; the King has brought me into His chambers — we shall exult and rejoice in You; we shall recall Your love more than wine; with sincerity do they love You [ Song of Songs 1:4 ]. Master of the Universe — please have mercy upon me and help me and save me: that I merit to guard myself from wine and from all manner of intoxicating drinks; and that I never come to a state of intoxication [ shikrut ] at all — G‑d forbid; for this is a great and terrible and bitter thing. And save me from going in crooked paths; and from all the wayward turnings that come through intoxication; for the drunkard lies down in the heart of the sea; and like one who lies at the top of a mast [ Proverbs 23:34 ]. Full of mercy: You know how many souls have sunk in the miry clay [ yaven metzulah ] through much drinking and intoxication; and how many have abandoned the ways of life through wine. And in particular — the young ones of Israel who have not yet come to holiness: have mercy upon them and rescue them and bring them back speedily to their Father in Heaven; and raise them from below. And help me and save me that I merit to truly honor Hashem from my wealth [ Proverbs 3:9 ] — and from my throat [ me'garon ]; that I merit to honor Hashem in truth with my money and with my voice — in song and praise; and to use all that I have in the service of G‑d in truth; and to merit to honor Hashem in truth from all my possessions and from my throat.

Master of the Universe: You know that even according to the great shame and disgrace of intoxication without measure — even so: the Torah did not prohibit wine entirely; and our masters of blessed memory did not prohibit it; but rather they said: wine gladdens the heart of man [ Psalms 104:15 ]; and wine was made for nothing but consolation [ Sanhedrin 70a ]. And therefore: help me and save me and strengthen me and embolden me always — that I merit to drink wine and other drinks only at the right time and in the right measure; only as much as is needed to gladden my heart before You; so that I merit through the joy of wine to the true joy of the heart; and to always direct everything toward the service of G‑d in truth; and to never deviate from Your will — right or left — from now and forever. Amen Selah. Your kingdom is the kingdom of all worlds; and Your dominion is throughout all generations. Hashem supports all who fall; and straightens all who are bowed [ Psalms 145:13–14 ]. King of kings — Who gives kingship to kings; and dominion belongs to Him . And as it is said: To You, Hashem , is the kingdom — and You are exalted over all as head [ 1 Chronicles 29:11 ]. And therefore have mercy upon us for the sake of Your Name; and give us providers of sustenance and leaders and heads who are fitting [ parnasin u'manhigin v'roshim kesherim ]; and who shall conduct and lead us in the right way — the way of truth; and in the fear of G‑d; and in Torah and in holy service; and in charity and in lovingkindness. And may the leaders who are fitting for us come — both in matters of the spirit and in matters of the body; and may You give us true and good rulers who conduct themselves according to Your will — to protect us from all evil. And may there be complete repair and wholeness in all the four aspects [ arba' midot ] of damage [ mazik ]: the ox; the pit; the grazing animal; and the fire [ Bava Kamma 2a ] — in such a manner that each and every one shall conduct himself according to his true standard in truth and to its truth as Your good will desires. For You have revealed to us the immensity of the merits that one attains through a fitting leader; for through a fitting leader one merits: to have fulfilled all the commandments; and to have no sin of theft; and to have no sin of forbidden sexual relations; and to be clean from the sin of bloodshed; and to be wholly clean from the blemish of all these four attributes. And have mercy upon us and guard us and save us from the blemish of vows and oaths [ pegam nedarim u'shevuos ]; and guard us that we not stumble in them at all — in any vow or oath or pledge; and in particular — save us from false oaths; and save us from swearing by the Name of Heaven in vain. And raise up the fallen Malchus [ Malchus ha'nefolah ]; and raise up and establish the complete repair of holy speech; and may it be the will of our Father in heaven that all decrees of harm and evil be nullified from upon Israel; and may the complete redemption speedily come upon us; and may Hashem be king over all the earth — on that day Hashem shall be One and His Name One [ Zechariah 14:9 ]. King — helper and savior and shield: shield us and nullify and remove from upon us all harsh decrees and evil decrees . Master of the Universe — have compassion and have pity upon us and upon all of Israel; and nullify from upon us all the evil decrees and the harsh decrees that have been decreed upon us and upon Israel; and do not allow our enemies and those who hate us to harm us. And may You confound the counsel of all our enemies and the counsel of all who seek our harm. For they have consulted together against us — for those who hate You have raised their head; they have taken crafty counsel against Your people and deliberated against Your treasured ones [ Psalms 83:3–4 ]. And may You nullify and cancel all their counsel; and may the verse be fulfilled: For they have consulted together with one heart — against You they have made a covenant [ Psalms 83:6 ]. Master of the Universe: You alone know the situation and state of Israel at this time among the nations [ akum ]; for they have counseled together and conspired with one heart and one mouth against us — to destroy us, G‑d forbid, from being a people [ Psalms 83:5 ]; and to blot out the Name of Israel from the world, G‑d forbid. But You — Master of war; Who fights the battles of Israel always: You know how You have always saved us and rescued us from their hands; and have always answered us in our time of distress; and have never abandoned us to our enemies to devour us — and the Holy One blessed be He rescues us from their hands. Have mercy upon us — our Father; compassionate Father: for there is none who stands in our defense; Your great Name shall stand in our defense; for the sake of Your Name — act for us; and save and rescue us in the merit and through the power of the true holy tzadikim ; and in the merit of the Torah and the mitzvos of Israel. And arouse great mercy upon us and upon all of Israel; and pour out Your mercy upon us; and may You be filled with mercy upon us; for You know our affliction and our distress and our poverty in this bitter exile. And may You be moved to compassion for us like a father who has compassion for his children; and like a mother who consoles her children; and like a young man for the maiden of his youth. And help us and save us always; and may there be not a single one of all of Israel who falls into the hands of the enemy; and may there not be one who is harmed — not in body and not in soul and not in money. And support and strengthen all who are poor among Your people Israel — in this poor generation; for there is none who helps: help us — for upon You do we lean [ Psalms 79:8 ].
