And behold — I clearly saw the wonders of Hashem — how from Heaven they were helping me to come to Nikolayev and to Odessa — in order to travel to Eretz Yisroel. For upon my arrival in Tcheirin — they immediately told me that the rabbinic Rabbi Shlomo son of Rabbi Leib may his light shine had come to his mother's house at those very times. And he was still there. And he intended to travel to his father in Nikolayev. And I immediately understood that it was not an empty thing — and it was from Heaven. For through this I could also easily come to Nikolayev — that is: to travel together with him as one. And so it indeed was afterward — that I traveled together with him. And had it not been for this — I would certainly not have been in Odessa. And I would not have been in Eretz Yisroel — Heaven forbid. But even so — I was still in doubt about the actual journey. Only every time I recalled in my mind that Rabbi Shlomo may his light shine was in Kremintchoug — I was immediately aroused. And I understood that Hashem Blessed be He in His mercy was hinting to me that I must travel to Eretz Yisroel. For he had come now at that time to Kremintchoug only for my sake. And so it was — with Hashem's help.
