And Hashem Blessed be He helped him that he came to the Holy Land, sat there some months, and afterward circled through the Ishmaelite lands until he came here on holy Shabbas. And the rav also gave him lodgings at the master of the house of ours. And it was a great pleasure for us — that another one from our lands had met us. And we had with whom to speak.
