בְּמוֹצָאֵי אוֹתוֹ שַׁבַּת פָּרָשַׁת נחַ הַנַּ"ל סִפֵּר לְפָנֵינוּ הַמַּעֲשֶׂה שֶׁל הַשְּׁנֵי בָּנִים שֶׁנֶּחְלְפוּ (סִפּוּרֵי מַעֲשִּׂיּוֹת י"א), וּמִתְּחִלָּה דִּבֵּר מפ"ב וְכוּ' וְאָמַר לְעִנְיָן זֶה שֶׁיֵּשׁ הֵיכְלֵי הַתְּמוּרוֹת שֶׁשָּׁם נֶחֱלָפִין לִפְעָמִים הַנְּשָׁמוֹת וְאָמַר שֶׁכְּבָר אֵרַע מַעֲשֶׂה כָּזֶה שֶׁהָיָה מֶלֶךְ שֶׁהָיְתָה בְּבֵיתוֹ שִׁפְחָה וְכוּ' וְסִפֵּר כָּל הַמַּעֲשֶׂה הַנַּ"ל שֶׁל הַשְּׁנֵי בָּנִים שֶׁנֶּחְלְפוּ כִּי כָּךְ הָיָה אֵצֶל כָּל מַעֲשֶׂה שֶׁהַתְחָלַת סִפּוּר כָּל מַעֲשֶׂה הָיָה עַל יְדֵי שֶׁדִּבְּרוּ לְפָנָיו מֵאֵיזֶה עִנְיָן שֶׁעַל יְדֵי זֶה הָיָה לוֹ אִתְעָרוּתָא דִּלְתַתָּא לְסַפֵּר אוֹתָהּ הַמַּעֲשֶׂה, מֵחֲמַת שֶׁהָיָה אֶצְלוֹ אֵיזֶה שַׁיָּכוּת וְקֶשֶׁר לְהָעִנְיָן שֶׁסִּפְּרוּ לְפָנָיו עִם הַמַּעֲשֶׂה הַקָּדוֹשׁ שֶׁהָיָה צָרִיךְ לְגַלּוֹת כְּפִי הַשָּׂגָתוֹ הַנּוֹרָאָה וְכֵן בְּרב הַתּוֹרוֹת הָיָה מֵעֵין זֶה שֶׁעַל פִּי רב גִּלָּה תּוֹרָה מֵעֵין אוֹתָהּ הַשִּׂיחָה שֶׁסִּפְּרוּ עִמּוֹ הָעוֹלָם, וְכָל זֶה אִי אֶפְשָׁר לְצַיֵּר כִּי אִם מִי שֶׁהָיָה עוֹמֵד אֶצְלוֹ אָז וְהָיָה לוֹ מחַ בְּקָדְקֳדוֹ לְהִסְתַּכֵּל עַל זֶה הָיָה רוֹאֶה נִפְלְאוֹת הַשֵּׁם וְנוֹרְאוֹתָיו אֵצֶל כָּל תּוֹרָה וְשִׂיחָה שֶׁגִּלָּה, בִּפְרָט אֵצֶל הַמַּעֲשִׂיּוֹת שֶׁגִּלָּה, בִּפְרָט אֵצֶל הַמַּעֲשֶׂה הַנּוֹרָאָה הַגְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם שֶׁהִיא הַמַּעֲשֶׂה הָאַחֲרוֹנָה שֶׁל הַשִּׁבְעָה בֶּעטְלֶערְס וּמְעַט מִזֶּה יְבאַר עוֹד לְקַמָּן בִּמְקוֹמוֹ (סִימָן מ"ב מ"ג)
And very close to my entering the city — while I was on the bridge there — I answered and said: "Master of the World, provide for me here a wagon with four horses that is traveling to Breslov and that will take me for free." And the wagon-driver heard when I said this. Afterward we entered the city and came inside the inn. The wagon-driver wanted to linger there to give feed to the horses. And I washed my hands to eat — and between the washing and the blessing of HaMotzi, the wagon-driver answered and said to me: "Rabbi Nussun, your prayer has been answered — for at this very moment a wagon has arrived with four horses traveling to Breslov. And the merchant traveling there will certainly take you for free, for I know him." And he told me immediately who he was. And I was very greatly startled. And so it was.
