Sometimes a person falls greatly and distances himself from Hashem through truth — for he knows in truth that he has damaged and corrupted greatly, and even now he is as he is — and therefore he despairs of himself entirely. But in truth one must distance oneself from such a use of truth. See: Truth, Ois 27 and Ois 30.
